When the San José del Cabo Art Walk runs
The Los Cabos Tourism Board describes the Art Walk as taking place every Thursday evening from November through June. Participating galleries open their doors, some offer refreshments, and the gallery district becomes a social evening as much as a shopping trip. Outside the season, most galleries keep regular daytime hours, so you can still visit, but without the event atmosphere.

What to expect
The gallery district sits in the historic center, a few blocks of cobbled streets and colonial-era buildings around the main plaza and the mission church. The tourism board highlights handmade art and folk art alongside contemporary work, with venues ranging from established fine-art galleries to spaces in restored historic buildings. Styles vary widely, from Mexican contemporary painting and sculpture to crafts and design.
